Abigail Jackson

Abby Jackson works within the Office of Institutional Compliance & Audit Services as the Assistant Vice President of Compliance and Privacy Operations and the Privacy Officer of UT Southwestern Medical Center. Abby has worked in Healthcare for over 10 years and is passionate about building effective Compliance, Internal Audit, and Privacy programs in a variety of healthcare settings. Abby earned her Masters in Business Administration and Masters of Science, both with a concentration of Health Organization Management from Texas Tech University. After graduating, Abby continued her career in Healthcare Compliance at Protiviti within the Healthcare Audit Practice, before joining UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2019. Once at UTSW, Abby has served as the Privacy Officer and has overseen the development, implementation, and delivery of the Privacy Program across the institution. Abby?s role then expanded to include compliance operations, system administration, and investigations of compliance, and privacy-related issues. Most recently, Abby has been named the Chief Compliance Officer for Southwestern Health Resources, an Accountable Care Organization operating in North Texas.
