Ms. Chase has an extensive background in healthcare compliance and privacy. For over a decade, she has been dedicated to compliance programs, protecting patient and organization healthcare data, and improving organizational culture at health systems, hospitals, and clinics in the Midwest. Chase holds an Executive Juris Doctorate (EJD) degree specializing in Healthcare Law/Compliance. She holds current certifications in Healthcare Compliance and Healthcare Privacy through the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). Chase attended an FBI Compliance Officer Academy through the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics Association (SCCE), and also holds the Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification through SCCE. She also currently holds social work licenses in both Michigan and Wisconsin. Chase helps ensure organizations adhere to procedures and laws, perform internal risk assessments and reviews, and support data protection on health information of employees and patients. Most recently, in October of 2020 she played an Incident Commander role in a facility that experienced a cyber-attack.
