Alexandra Wright

Alex Wright, MHA, CRC, CEMC, is the Associate Director of Compliance for Stony Brook Medicine's Clinical Practice Management Plan (CPMP). Wright oversees the regulatory, billing, Accountable Care Organization (ACO), and program integrity aspects of the compliance program and is responsible for providing guidance and education to physicians and non-physician clinicians, clinical department leaders, and others regarding compliance with federal and state rules, regulations, and laws on physician billing and business practices, and organizational policies and procedures as prescribed in the Compliance Code of Conduct. Wright partners with the Compliance and Privacy Officer to develop and manage the annual compliance workplan, provide continual risk assessment, and create comprehensive policies and procedures, compliance training, and investigations. She received her Master of Health Administration from Stony Brook University and her Bachelor of Liberal Studies from the University of Tampa.
