Andrew has been an attorney with the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU), since August 2006. In this role, Andrew has prosecuted and supervised cases involving elder abuse/neglect and Medicaid Fraud. The Medicaid Fraud prosecutions have involved crimes ranging from failure to maintain accurate documentation to felony Medicaid Fraud. Elder abuse/neglect prosecutions and investigations have ranged from gross misdemeanors for neglect of duty to felony elder neglect resulting in death. As Director of the MFCU, Andrew also oversees civil cases involving actions brought to recover improper Medicaid payments under Nevada’s civil False Claims Act.

Andrew became the Director of the Nevada MFCU in May 2019. Andrew has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Andrew graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law in May 2006. Andrew serves on the National Association of Medicaid Fraud Control Units (NAMFCU) Resident Abuse Committee and NAMFCU Training Committee.
