Aurea Flores

Dr. Aurea M. Flores was born in Puerto Rico. She is a licensed pharmacist. She was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Purdue University. Dr. Flores completed a post-doctoral fellowship in molecular oncology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida. For the last 25 years, Dr. Flores has conducted/supported clinical trials in a variety of areas (oncology, cardiology, neurology, bariatrics, pediatrics and others) with emphasis in patient safety, and regulatory compliance. She is a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP-SoCRA), Project Management Professional (PMP-PMI), Agile Project Manager (PMI-ACP), and Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC-HCCA), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC-HCCA), Certified in Health Privacy Compliance (CHPC), and is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP). Since 2016 to she has specialized in Research Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance. She is a speaker at National meetings and consults in areas of clinical research, project management, healthcare and research compliance.
