Bailey Mack, Chief Compliance Officer to Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth, has over 15 years of experience in accounting and compliance. Mrs. Mack is primarily responsible for overseeing compliance including performance quality improvement within the organization and ensuring compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, contracts, policies, and procedures.

As the compliance leader and subject matter expert, Mrs. Mack is responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the compliance programs throughout the organization are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting, and correcting non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations. She has to provide reasonable assurance to senior management and the Board of Directors that there are effective and efficient policies and procedures in place, that are well understood and respected by all employees, and that the company is complying with all regulatory and contractual requirements.

Prior to joining Berkshire, Mrs. Mack was the Corporate Compliance Officer for a private governmental contractor which operated in multiple states and countries. Within this role she managed the entities compliance and internal audit department while operating as the 401K Plan Administrator. Additionally, Mrs. Mack worked with KPMG as the lead auditor for the compliance and financial audits of multiple states including but not limited to New York State.

Mrs. Mack holds two certifications within compliance. She is Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) and Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP). She is actively involved in the organizations of Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) and Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE). She has been published within the magazines produced by these organizations and within Ethikos magazine. Mrs. Mack has also contributed to the national Health Care Compliance Association Manual produced by HCCA.

Mrs. Mack leads the upstate COFCCA risk management group sharing the knowledge she has and engaging members allowing for cross agency participation. This group allows the effective use of knowledge and resources for common industry areas.

Mrs. Mack is dedicated to the mission statement of Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth and extends this dedication to her active involvement in the local community. Mrs. Mack is on the School Board for a local private school as well as the school’s finance committee and policy committee. She continues her service by additionally being on the Finance committee for her local parish. Mrs. Mack has been awarded and recognized for her work within the accounting, compliance, and community services fields through nomination for Compliance Officer of the Year in the Non-Profit Category for 2018 and 2019, granted the Beacon of Hope Community Spirit Award, the Exceptional Job Performance award, the Mentoring Award, and the Team Quality Award.
