Blaine Kerr is the AVP, Deputy Chief Privacy Officer for Ensemble Health Partners. Ensemble Health Partners is a company that provides an end-to-end approach for revenue cycle operations. Ensemble Health Partners operates in 40 states, employs over 7000 associates, provides full outsource services to over 70 hospitals and serves over 380 facilities. Blaine's professional experience includes: Chief Privacy Officer at Jackson Health System in Miami, Florida, from 2017-2020. Jackson Health System is an internationally recognized, academic health system composed of six hospitals, twelve specialty care centers, two long term care centers, urgent care centers, and health clinics. He had oversight responsibilities for the HIPAA Privacy Compliance program. Chief Privacy Officer for TeamHealth from 2015-2017. TeamHealth is one of the largest integrated health care providers in the country with over 20,000 clinicians and provides staffing, administrative support, and management across the full continuum of care from hospital-based practices to post-acute and ambulatory centers. He had oversight responsibilities for the HIPAA Privacy Compliance program Director of Privacy for Community Health Systems, a national, for-profit, publicly-traded healthcare system, from 2014-2015 where he assisted with the oversight of the organizational privacy program. Community Health Systems included over 200 hospitals, and employed physicians in multiple states. HIPAA Compliance Manager for Health Management Associates, a national, for-profit, publicly-traded healthcare system where he assisted with the privacy program oversight for over 70 hospitals and employed physicians in multiple states. Privacy Officer for the Penn State Hershey Medical Center from 2003-2009. He was responsible for the oversight of the academic, research and clinical privacy programs. Blaine has CISA and CHPC certifications.
