Chris Bennington

Chris Bennington is an attorney with over sixteen years of experience working with both health plans and providers. He has served as general counsel to a childrens hospital and provided in house legal services to a major Medicaid managed care plan. In addition to assisting clients on a wide array of HIPAA compliance issues, Chris provides on-site HIPAA training to hospital and health plan staff, conducts investigations of potential breaches of PHI, and performs general and focused HIPAA compliance audits. He is a frequent speaker on HIPAA, the HITECH Act, and the regulations implementing both laws.
