Chris Humphreys

Sheriff Chris Humphreys (ret.) is a Supervisor with Community Counseling Solutions. He holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is aregistered Professional Counseling Associate with the Oregon Board of Professional Counselors. He also holds a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from BostonUniversity. Chris spent over two decades working in law enforcement field, retiring after serving two terms as a duly elected Sheriff. Chris has advanced trainingin Critical Incident Stress Management and is trained in EMDR and as part of his job works on issues related to Law Enforcement and Mental Health. He hasbeen the recipient of the City of Portland Medal of Valor, the Oregon State Sheriffs Lifesaving Award and the Oregon Health Authority Award for MeritoriousAction and the Community Counseling Service Ambassador award.
