Courtney Aladro is an Assistant Attorney General and the Bureau Chief of the Health Care and Fair Competition Bureau of the Massachusetts Attorney General?s Office. The Bureau works to make sure that businesses and nonprofits operate fairly so that Massachusetts residents can have equitable access to important health care and other services that these organizations provide. This Bureau includes Health Care, Antitrust, Medicaid Fraud, False Claims and the Non-Profit Organizations/Public Charities Divisions. Most recently, Courtney served as Chief of the Charities Division, which oversees public charities, including our largest health systems and health insurers, safeguarding the public?s interest in charitable assets and ensuring the proper solicitation and use of charitable funds. Prior to that, Courtney was an Assistant Attorney General and Senior Health Care Policy Advisor in the Health Care Division. Courtney began her career as a litigator at Choate, Hall and Stewart LLP. She is on the board of the National Association of State Charity Officials and chairs the Policy Committee.
