Dr. Dawn Pittinger serves as the Corporate Compliance Research Financial Compliance Officer at Moffitt Cancer Center. She is responsible for developing andoverseeing the clinical trial billing and grants management auditing programs while also ensuring financial integrity in research for Moffitt and its researchparticipants. She has 15+ years' experience in clinical research in the healthcare system setting with a focus on clinical research operations, compliance, grantmanagement, finance/revenue cycle, education, and training. She was instrumental in developing, implementing, and overseeing a centralized research billingoffice, leading a system-wide deployment of a Clinical Trial Management System, multiple EHRs, revenue cycle billing systems, and other electronic systems forresearch. Dr. Pittinger has a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA), MBA in Healthcare Administration, and is CHRC and CRCP certified.
