Greg Kerr

Greg Kerr is the Chief Privacy Officer at Ensemble Health Partners, a national revenue cycle management provider. Greg has more than 20 years experience in the healthcare compliance industry that includes conducting investigations, policy development and review, interim management, and privacy program development, specializing in the areas of HIPAA Privacy, HITECH, Breach Notification regulations, and the Red Flags Rule. He is located in Fort Myers, Florida Greg came to Ensemble from Ankura Consulting Group, were he had been serving as Managing Director. Earlier in his career, he served as both Director of HIPAA Compliance and Corporate Privacy Officer for a national, for-profit, publicly traded healthcare system which owned and operated hospitals and employed physicians in multiple states. While there, he implemented HIPAA Privacy and HIPAA Security Compliance programs. Greg completed his Bachelor of Science in Health Care Services at the University of Phoenix and earned his Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He is Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) with the Compliance Certification Board (CCB) and Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). Greg's professional experience includes: Served as compliance officer for a hospital-employed physician network and residency training program. Served as the administrator for a hospital-owned home health agency. Greg is past faculty member for Health Care Compliance Association Basic Privacy Academies. Greg has presented at national conferences and private conferences on topics including the development, implementation and effectiveness of policies and procedures, employer sponsored group health plans, privacy program assessments and auditing and monitoring of privacy program effectiveness.
