Janine Valdez

Ms. Janine Valdez has 23 years of experience in a variety of positions within long term care. Janine joined Sun Healthcare Group in 1997 and worked as an accountant for the SunDance Rehabilitation Corporation. During her tenure with Sun, she worked in a variety of roles in accounting and financial planning. In 2001, she joined the Sun Compliance Department and assisted with the negotiation and implementation of the companys Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) with the United States Office of Inspector General. Janine joined Genesis Healthcare in 2012, and as corporate compliance officer has worked to ensure that the compliance program remain a vital component of the companys overall management strategy. She has managed various compliance, risk and regulatory matters and numerous internal investigations.
