Jeff Driver is a Clinical Assistant Professor at The Arizona State University Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation and Director of the Bachelor ofScience program in Health Care Compliance and Regulation. He is the principal of Soteria Risk Works LLC, a boutique risk consulting firm established in 2018.Jeff received a Juris Doctor (JD) from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California and completed post-graduate studies in evidence-basedhealthcare at the University of Oxford, England (MSc.) and business administration at Cleveland State University (MBA). In addition to teaching for HCCA & SCCEnational compliance, privacy, and research academies, Jeff also principally teaches courses and guides undergraduate and graduate students within the HealthEntrepreneurship and Innovation and the Health Care Compliance and Regulation curriculums for ASU's Edson CONHI and the Thunderbird School of GlobalBusiness, as well as for the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. Professor Driver is a practitioner-scholar with research and practice interests
principally in evidence-based healthcare risk, safety and compliance systems design, management, and business sustainability. Mr. Driver's healthcare practiceas a risk and compliance professional includes utilizing data and decision science, design thinking, and evidence-based methods to advance the effectiveness,reliability, and durability of interrelated management systems in patient safety, compliance, as well as clinical and business risk management. As well, Jeff worksand researches in the arena of health law and alternative dispute resolution. In his management practice spanning several decades, Jeff has been the lead inseven start-ups and chief instigator for multiple management and risk management innovations.
