Jeffrey Pigott

Jeff Pigott is the Director, Compliance and Privacy Officer for Summit Medical Group in Knoxville Tennessee. Jeff has over 25 years auditing, accounting and compliance experience in healthcare and 39 years combined in healthcare and other industries. Prior to starting as Director, Compliance at Summit Medical in September 2024, Jeff served as the Vice President of Compliance and Internal Audit for Lee Memorial Health System, Fort Myers FL from 2018-2023, and Corporate Compliance Officer and Director of Internal Audit for Huntsville Hospital Health System, Huntsville AL from 2013-2018. From 2005-2013, Jeff served Mercy Health (formerly Catholic Health Partners) as a Manager, Senior Manager and Audit Director in the Knoxville and Paducah Regions and the Corporate Office in Cincinnati. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master?s in Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy and is a Certified Internal Auditor. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors, and the Health Care Compliance Association. Jeff is a volunteer with the Alcoa Maryville Bowling Association helping to coach youth bowlers and member of his HOA board of directors and a merit badge counselor for Scouting USA.
