He is a licensed attorney in Arizona, Idaho, Michigan, and the U.S. District of District, and is also an arbitrator through AHLA. He practices health law with a focus on transactional matters, compliance, reimbursement, contracts, third-party payor audits, and appeals. Prior to becoming an attorney, Joe started his career in coding. He has written 3 books on E/M auditing, co-authored a book on the No Surprises Act published by the American Bar Association, published many articles, and frequently speaks on healthcare reimbursement topics.
