Katie Dever

Katie has been working in and around healthcare compliance for nearly 20 years. She currently serves as the Director of Compliance and Privacy Officer at Tryon Management Group, LLC, a management services organization primarily supporting Tryon Medical Partners, PLLC, a group practice with over 100 physicians and advanced clinical practitioners located in Charlotte, NC. Her primary responsibilities afford her the opportunity to work alongside the Physician Compliance Officer for Tryon Medical Partners, and to develop, implement, and oversee the group’s compliance and privacy programs, including the coding and billing auditing, education, and monitoring function. Prior to joining Tryon, Katie took a hiatus to pursue her law degree. Prior to law school, she held various leadership positions within the compliance department of a large multi-hospital system in Charlotte where she oversaw the compliance program functions of all the owned and affiliated hospitals. Katie lives in South Carolina with her husband, 3 kids, and their dog and she loves traveling with her family. The thing Katie most enjoys about working in healthcare compliance is the opportunity for continuous growth and learning alongside clinical and administrative colleagues who are passionate about their own purpose-driven work.
