Larry Freedman is a Member of Mintz Levin, where his health care and life sciences litigation practice focuses on defending clients against allegations and investigations of fraud and abuse involving governmental programs, including the Medicare, Medicaid and Medicare Advantage programs. Prior to entering private practice in 2005, Larry served as an Assistant Director of the Civil Fraud Section of the U.S. Department of Justice(1997-2004), where he supervised hundreds of health care qui tam cases filed in US district courts throughout the country, and served as a Trial Attorney in the Civil Fraud Section (1991-1997). Larry is a graduate of Colgate University and Yale Law School, and clerked for the Honorable Richard C. Cardamone of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
