Lori Hayden

Lori Hayden is a 1996 University of Louisville graduate with a B.S. in Administration of Justice and a 2000 Rutgers Law School-Newark gradute where she earned her Juris Doctor degree. Lori began her law career as a staff attorney for the Appalachian Research and Defense Fund of Kentucky, a non-profit civil law organization serving the needs of low income citizen in the Appalachian mountain region. She fell in love with the area and in 2003, she opened her law office, as a sole practitioner, in Hazard, Kentucky. Lori performed work for healthcare organizations and other businesses. During her time in private practice, Lori served as the Perry County Kentucky Trial Commissioner performing psychiatric hospital hearing, juvenile dependency, neglect and abuse hearings and arraignments; assistant city attorney for the City of Hazard; counsel for the Housing Authority of Hazard. and as an adjunct professor for Midway College in the Healthcare Administrator Program. Lori closed her lawoffice in 2020 and was named Chief Compliance Officer for Commonwealth Pain Associates, PLLC, an interventional pain management facility serving the mid-west and expanding. She also provides compliance and legal consulting through ConfirmaMD, LLC, a multi-service company providing healthcare billing, operations, and back-office services for healthcare entities. As a mother of two teenage boys and 3 dogs, her life is full of activity and a lot of laughter.
