Lori Peters is a Senior Director with the Special Investigations Unit which is part of the Compliance Department at Centene, Corp. In her current role she oversees various SIU functions to include the Intake/Triage Team, Pharmacy Investigations Team, vendor and project management, and the medical record coordinators. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Evangel University. Lori has a multifaceted background of investigations, management, nursing, utilization review, and quality improvement. She has more than 30 years of healthcare fraud investigations experience with several Medicare and Medicaid contractors. Lori is an Accredited Health Care Fraud Investigator and a registered nurse.
