Lynn Myers

Dr. Lynn Myers is a Family Physician. Dr. Myers was in private practice for twenty years before moving into an administrative role for Texas Health Physicians Group. She takes great pride in building and leading diverse interdepartmental teams to accomplish strategic initiatives in physician education, compliance and EMR implementation.Her excellent communication and leadership skills have supported her in being highly effective at leveraging stakeholder relationships to drive strategy and align the physician group with system initiatives, manage regulatory and compliance issues, build consensus and motivate team members to top-of-license performance. She is a national speaker on several topics such as: Diagnosis and procedure coding, clinical documentation improvement, physician practice compliance and ICD-10 to name a few.Dr. Myers is also a certified coder, and works to help physicians improve their documentation in order to confidently support the levels of service and diagnoses reported for reimbursement. Dr. Myers is an AHIMA-certified ICD-10 trainer and chairs the THPG ICD-10 Steering Committee. She also serves as the Physician Champion for implementing and meaningfully using electronic medical record systems for Texas Health Physicians Group.
