Maggie Rubrecht-Scaffe

International Compliance Officer, Moffitt Cancer Center

Maggie Rubrecht-Scaffe is the International Compliance Officer at Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. In this role she is responsible for overseeing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the International Compliance Program of the Corporate Compliance Department. The International Compliance Office is comprised of the Export Control Program and the Foreign Influence Program. Maggie serves as an empowered official and provides guidance and strategic consultation on decisions that have an import/export impact. Maggie brings over 10 years of combined research, compliance, and legal experience to Moffitt. Prior to joining Moffitt, she served as the Export Control Officer with the University of South Florida. In her time at USF, Maggie also worked in the Office of Sponsored Research as a Sponsored Research Administrator. This foundational experience in research administration helps in her understanding of the complex questions that can arise in this arena. Maggie received her JD from the Florida Coastal School of Law where she graduated with Honors.
