Martha Alexander

Martha L. Alexander is the Director of Non-Discrimination Initiatives and Title IX Coordinator at Smith College and an experienced administrator and attorney specializing in higher education and civil rights law. Over the course of her career, Martha has litigated civil rights and education law matters, drafted policy and guidance related to compliance with federal and state civil rights laws, and implemented compliance programs related to Title VII, Title VI, and Title IX. In her role as Executive Director in the Office for Institutional Equity and Equal Opportunity at the University of Kentucky, Martha also served as the Section 1557 Coordinator.
