Meredith Williams

Meredith Williams currently serves as senior counsel to the Office of Inspector General (OIG) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) inWashington, D.C. She currently serves in the Administrative and Civil Remedies Branch, monitoring compliance by health care entities with their obligationsunder Corporate Integrity Agreements with OIG. She also served as a member of the OIGs Industry Guidance Branch for over a decade, preparing advisoryopinions, issuing regulations, and providing public guidance that address the legality of health care transactions and arrangements under the anti-kickbackstatute and other federal fraud and abuse laws. Before joining the OIG, Meredith worked in a law firm, focusing on health care law.
