Ray has approximately 20 years of experience providing companies with IT and cyber operations, auditing, and consulting services. He also led a security department as the interim Chief Information Security Officer. Ray has been involved with national publications and is a regular speaker on Cybersecurity and Information Technology topics at various Healthcare conferences. Ray is a cybersecurity and compliance leader who excels in building world-class teams and delivering security solutions, driving business growth and profitability. He specializes in leading transformational outcomes by optimizing people, processes, and emerging technologies, while demonstrating the ability to navigating complex environments. He assists clients with Internal Audit, IT, and cybersecurity programs and initiatives, control design optimization, and governance. He provides reassurance in managing cyber security risk for regulatory compliance to measure maturity and develop roadmaps. Ray has worked with client service engagements serving global and U.S. Fortune 500 companies specializing in IT and cyber control design and governance to support Healthcare regulations. Ray helps clients manage cyber and operational risk through common security frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, HITRUST) as a model to manage risks through vendor assessments, identity and access management, incident response, and regulatory requirements to measure maturity and report compliance and security best practices. Ray has developed information security department?s long-term strategy to introduce enterprise-wide efficiencies, automation, and security improvements. He has communicated cyber updates to executive teams and boards. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He is a member of ISACA®, Project Management Institute, (ISC)², and Cloud Security Alliance. Ray is a graduate of Harding University, Searcy, Arkansas, with a B.B.A. degree in Informational Technology.
