With over 20 years of experience, Regina is recognized expert specializing in corporate compliance, ERM, audit, privacy, research, and regulatory affairs across MCO and provider spectrum. Currently she serves as a Chief Compliance & Risk Officer of OMNI Ophthalmic Management Consultants, a private equity-backed surgical practice with operations and ASCs across 5 states. Regina is responsible for corporate compliance operations, as well as risk management and mitigation, audit, clinical research, privacy, and M&A due diligence. Previously, she led the compliance effort for AdvantageCare Physicians, a newly-created 450-physician and 3,000-employee private medical practice in New York City and served as Chief Compliance Officer of University Physician Associates, a faculty practice plan of University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey in Newark, where she was responsible for the compliance education and audit program for 700 New Jersey Medical School faculty physicians. Regina spent preceding 10 years developing, implementing, and managing corporate compliance, regulatory, privacy, and Special Investigations Units for leading New York City managed healthcare plans. Regina served on an Advisory Task Force for New York Office of Medicaid Inspector General Compliance Guidance for Managed Care Organizations. She is a frequent speaker at the industry forums with AHLA, HCCA, and HFMA and is a member of the editorial review board of HCCA Auditing & Monitoring Tools publication. Regina is a faculty member with NYU Wagner School of Public Health & Touro College Graduate School of Business. She holds an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Zicklin School of Business at Mount Sinai/Baruch College program.
