Scott Long

Scott Long serves as Chief Compliance Officer for St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. In his role, he is responsible for administering the hospital's processes forpromoting St. Jude's compliance with laws, regulations and policies. Scott chairs the hospitals compliance steering committee and works closely with that teamto implement policies, including the hospital's code of conduct. Scott joined St. Jude in 2005 as a postdoctoral fellow. After completing his fellowship, he joinedChildren's GMP, LLC as a production scientist. In 2009, Scott's interests in regulatory affairs led him to join St. Jude's Compliance Office where he has led theprogram as its Chief Compliance Officer since 2015. Scott received a PhD in microbiology from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and an advancedcertificate in regulatory affairs from San Diego State University. His certifications include Certified in Healthcare Compliance and Certified Compliance andEthics Professional.
