Sheryl Vacca

Sheryl is currently the President, Vacca Consulting (January 2024) which focuses on risk, compliance, audit and integrity matters. Sheryl has served as a practitioner in various roles of risk, compliance and internal audit such as Providence St Joseph Health System (Chief Risk Officer), University of CA (Chief Compliance and Audit Officer) and as a Director and National Lead of HC Internal Audit and Lead of West Coast Regulatory at Deloitte. Ms. Vacca has over thirty years of compliance, risk and auditing experience including an international focus with providing a broad range of services in risk areas for public and private organizations. Sheryl teaches internationally across various countries and has published 5 books on international and domestic compliance and risk concepts. Sheryl was awarded Senior Vice President Emerita for her service as the first Chief Compliance and Audit Officer at the University of California. Sheryl has received awards from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) and the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) for her contributions to the compliance profession. Sheryl is a board member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics & Health Care Compliance Association and is a past President of this association. Sheryl has also been Board Member on Venture Capital, Health Care and University organizations.
