Susan Marre

Susan (Sue) Marre, RHIA has over 35 years experience in the healthcare industry. Her healthcare career has spanned HIM management, coding, compliance and privacy on the professional and facility side. Her career began at University Hospital in Boston (now Boston Medical Center) where she worked in multiple positions in the HIM Department, eventually serving as the Interim Director. Sue is currently the Director of Billing Compliance at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston where she has worked for 5 years. She holds an undergraduate degree in Health Information Management from Northeastern University in Boston and is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). Sue is a Past President of the Massachusetts Health Information Management Association (MaHIMA). She has been a speaker at national conferences of the National Association Long Term Hospitals (NALTH), Alliance of Dedicated Cancer Centers (ADCC), and the Association of Academic Medical Colleges (AAMC).
