Steve Bunde

Steve Bunde is the Vice President, Internal Audit and Integrity and Compliance at HealthPartners, an integrated delivery system in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Heis also the Health Plan Compliance Officer. Steve has over 25 years of compliance and audit experience in the healthcare industry. In Steve's compliance role, hefocuses primarily on the health plan compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and ACA requirements, but also has experience with medical group, hospital, homecare, pharmacy and research activities. In his audit role, he leads the audit department which is responsible for assessing operational, financial, and compliancerelated controls within HealthPartners. He trains employees on various compliance-related topics and works extensively with the organization's process toscreen for sanctions/exclusions. Steve speaks at a local, regional, and national level on a wide variety of compliance and audit topics. Steve is a co-chair of the2018 Managed Care Compliance Conference.
